One Calculator

Terms of Service

The terms you agree to by using One Calculator. Short, because the service is simple.

Last updated: 21 August 2026

Welcome to One Calculator. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website at onecalculator.app and the free calculators we make available there (together, the "Service"). One Calculator is operated from India by the site owner ("we", "us", "our").

Please read these Terms carefully. They are written to be short and readable, because the Service itself is simple: a set of free calculators that run in your browser.

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the Service.

You must be able to form a binding agreement under the law that applies to you in order to use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.

2. What the Service Is

One Calculator is a free, static website offering online calculators. Today it includes:

  • an Age Calculator at /age
  • a BMI Calculator at /bmi

Any calculator we publish is part of the Service and is covered by these Terms.

A few things worth knowing about how the Service works:

  • All calculations run entirely in your own web browser. The values you type into a calculator are not sent to us or to any server.
  • There are no user accounts. There is nothing to sign up for, log in to, or subscribe to.
  • The optional History feature saves your past calculations in your browser's local storage, on your own device only. You can turn History off or clear it at any time from Settings.
  • Your preferences (units, date format, theme) are also stored locally in your browser.

The Service is provided free of charge and as is. We are not obliged to keep any particular calculator, feature, or page available, and we may add, change, or remove parts of the Service at any time.

3. No Professional Advice

One Calculator does not provide medical, health, legal, financial, or other professional advice. The Service is for general informational purposes only.

This matters most for the BMI Calculator. Body Mass Index is a rough screening measure, not a diagnosis. The BMI Calculator is not medical advice, and it is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

BMI is a simple ratio of weight to height. It does not measure body fat directly and does not account for muscle mass, bone density, body composition, age, sex, ethnicity, pregnancy, medical conditions, or many other factors that a clinician would consider. A BMI figure on its own tells you very little about an individual's health.

Always seek the advice of a qualified physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you have about your weight, your body, or a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you read or calculated on this site. If you think you may have a medical emergency, contact your doctor or your local emergency services immediately.

The same principle applies to every other calculator on the site. Results from the Age Calculator, or from any calculator we add later, are informational only and should not be treated as professional advice for legal, official, financial, or medical purposes.

4. Accuracy and No Warranty

We build our calculators carefully and try to keep them correct. Even so, software can contain errors, formulas can be applied in ways we did not anticipate, and inputs can be misunderstood. We make no promise that any result is accurate, complete, current, or suitable for your particular situation.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components.

Please verify any result independently before relying on it for anything consequential — anything involving your health, your finances, a legal or official filing, a deadline, or a decision that would be costly or difficult to reverse.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties. Where that is the case, the exclusions above apply to you only to the extent permitted by the law that applies to you, and nothing in these Terms limits rights you have that cannot lawfully be limited.

5. Acceptable Use

You are welcome to use the calculators as much as you like for your own personal or professional purposes. In return, please do not:

  • scrape, crawl, harvest, or systematically copy the site or its content, except for well-behaved indexing by search engines that respect our robots directives;
  • use bots, scripts, or other automated means to access the Service in bulk, or place unreasonable load on the site or on the infrastructure that serves it;
  • attempt to disrupt, disable, overload, or impair the Service, including through denial-of-service attempts or any similar interference;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, its hosting environment, or any related systems or networks;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits it despite this restriction;
  • remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notice;
  • use the Service in any way that breaks the law, infringes someone's rights, or is intended to deceive or harm others;
  • introduce malware or any other harmful code to the Service or to its users.

Because there are no accounts, we cannot suspend one. We may, however, block access, use rate limiting or other technical protections, and take any other step reasonably available to us to protect the Service and its users.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service — including its source code, design, layout, text, graphics, logos, and the "One Calculator" name — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of those rights to you.

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for its intended purpose. Everything not expressly granted is reserved.

The results you generate are yours. The numbers, dates, and figures a calculator produces from the values you enter belong to you, and you may use, save, and share them freely, for any purpose, with no obligation to us. We claim no rights over your inputs or your results — and, since calculations run in your browser, we never see them in the first place.

Any third-party software, fonts, or libraries used in building the Service remain the property of their respective owners and are used under their own licences.

7. Third-Party Advertising and Links

We intend to display advertising on the Service through Google AdSense and may use other advertising partners in future. Advertising is what allows us to keep the calculators free.

A few things you should know about ads:

  • Google and its partners are independent third parties. They serve ad content directly to your browser, and we do not control, review, endorse, or take responsibility for what they show, or for the products, services, or claims in any advertisement.
  • Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to our site and other sites on the internet.
  • Any dealings you have with an advertiser — including purchases, enquiries, and the terms that apply to them — are strictly between you and that advertiser. We are not a party to them and are not liable for any loss arising from them.

You can control personalised advertising:

For more on how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see Google's policy page. Our own Privacy Policy explains this in more detail, including how EEA, UK, and California residents can exercise their rights.

The Service may also contain links to third-party websites. We provide them for convenience only. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices. Visiting them is at your own risk, and their terms and privacy policies will apply.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or anticipated savings, arising out of or connected with your use of, or inability to use, the Service — even if we have been advised that such damages are possible.

Without limiting the above, we are not liable for:

  • decisions you make, or actions you take or fail to take, based on any result produced by a calculator;
  • any health, medical, financial, legal, or other outcome connected to your use of the Service;
  • errors or inaccuracies in results, content, or descriptions;
  • loss of History or Settings data stored in your browser, including data lost when you clear your browser storage, switch browsers or devices, or use private browsing;
  • interruptions, downtime, or unavailability of the Service;
  • the content, conduct, or practices of advertisers or of any third-party site.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims relating to the Service is limited to one hundred Indian Rupees (INR 100). This reflects a simple reality: the Service is provided free of charge, and you pay nothing for it.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. If you are a consumer, you may have rights under the consumer law of your country that these Terms cannot override, and nothing here affects those rights.

9. Indemnity

If your use of the Service breaks these Terms or applicable law and that causes a third-party claim against us, you agree to cover the reasonable costs, damages, and legal fees we incur as a result.

We will tell you promptly about any such claim, and you may take over its defence with counsel of your choosing, provided any settlement that imposes an obligation on us has our agreement first. This clause is intended to cover genuine misuse of the Service, and nothing more.

10. Changes to the Service and to These Terms

We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. Calculators may be updated, corrected, redesigned, or retired. Because the Service is free and has no accounts, we have no obligation to maintain any feature indefinitely.

We may also update these Terms from time to time — for example, if we add features, begin serving advertising, or need to reflect a change in the law. When we do, we will revise the Effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the site where practical.

Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms take effect means you accept them. If you do not agree with a change, please stop using the Service. Since we hold no account or data about you on our servers, stopping is as simple as closing the page; you may also clear your History and Settings from your browser at any time.

11. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, the Service, or their subject matter (including non-contractual disputes) are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

You and we agree that the courts of India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction whose law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts or to the protection of mandatory local consumer rules, this clause does not take those rights away from you.

12. General

Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will stay in full force.

No waiver. If we do not enforce a provision of these Terms, that is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.

Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service, and replace any earlier understanding on the subject.

Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms. We may assign them to a successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, or transfer of the Service.

No relationship. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, agency, employment, or joint venture between you and us.

13. Contact

Questions about these Terms are welcome.

We are a small operation and will do our best to respond in reasonable time.
